These website terms cover ready-to-send and bespoke business gifting orders placed with Coming From A Good Place. A bespoke proposal may add project-specific terms; where they conflict, the accepted proposal takes priority.
Quotes and orders
Website acknowledgement is not acceptance. A contract begins when we issue written acceptance or begin fulfilment. Quotes remain valid until their stated expiry date. You are responsible for checking recipient, artwork, message, quantity and delivery information before approval.
Prices, VAT and payment
Prices are in pounds sterling. VAT treatment, delivery, deposits and balance dates are shown at checkout or in the proposal. We may pause work or delivery while an overdue amount remains unpaid.
Bespoke approval and cancellation
Production begins after written approval and any required deposit. Changes after approval may affect price and timing. Personalised, perishable or made-to-order goods cannot normally be cancelled or returned once production has started, except where faulty or misdescribed. Any consumer rights that legally apply remain unaffected.
Products and substitutions
Photography is illustrative and handmade or natural products may vary. If an item becomes unavailable, we may propose an equal or higher-value substitute. Material changes will be agreed where practical before dispatch.
Delivery, risk and delays
Dates are estimates unless expressly agreed as fixed. Risk passes on delivery to the supplied address. We are not responsible for delay caused by inaccurate recipient data, failed access or events reasonably beyond our control, but will work to minimise the effect.
Artwork and intellectual property
You confirm that you may supply and authorise use of uploaded logos, artwork and wording. Your existing intellectual property remains yours. We retain ownership of our concepts and materials until payment, and may not publish confidential customer artwork without permission.
Liability
Nothing excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that, our aggregate contractual liability is limited to the amount paid for the affected order, and we are not responsible for indirect or consequential business loss.
